"You can't believe how much you and your page has helped me."
"You have changed my mentality not only on the field, but off the field."
"Thanks so much for your advice, I'm a starter on my team now!"
I stare at my phone screen in awe when I get messages like these.
How had the shyest and least confident kid on the team come to be a coach of multiple teams and impact thousands of players online?
I've been fortunate enough to help many players transform their confidence and ability. All because I took steps to transform my own self-defeating mindset.
But who cares about me? I'm writing this for YOU.
If you're seeing this page right now, it means you are the type of person who wants to achieve more in your game, and in life. You don't want your mindset to hold you back, but instead want it to propel you to achieve your dreams.
I started Dub Sports to help you transform the mindset that's holding you back, and give performances that leave you in awe of what you just accomplished.
You've been lied to by your coaches and trainers.
Your coaches, trainers, and fellow athletes have probably never taught you this.
You've been tricked into thinking hard work is what determines how far you go in your sport.
That if you put in the work in the gym, in practice, and push your body to the max, results will come.
That the key to performing your best and perhaps even signing a professional contract is to grind overtime and you'll make it.
But it isn't.
Talent and hard work can only take you so far.
That's why there are athletes that didn't grow up with talent that became the greatest in their sport (Michael Jordan and Tom Brady both weren't star players when they started their high school careers).
That's why the most physically fit athletes aren't the ones that achieve the most (Lionel Messi and Wayne Gretzky aren't physically gifted).
What sets apart good athletes from great athletes is their mindset.
Without a winner's mindset, you will let fear, failure, laziness, and pressure hinder you from performing your best.
In your career you will certainly face obstacles, and if you're not mentally equipped, you can say bye bye to your opportunities.
It's not an easy fix, but deep down we know our mindset is what's holding us back.
THAT is why I created How to be a Winner
This isn't even just about your sport. Your mindset bleeds into everything you do.
What could you achieve if you could give outstanding performances no matter the situation you're in?
I created How to be a Winner after I realized that:
- I wasn't the only one being held back by my lack of confidence and other mental skills.
- Most people, including myself for most of my life, avoid pressure situations and any opportunity for failure.
- Too many people are worried about the wrong thing— whether its only training the body, technique, or tactics— and they miss out on opportunities because they neglect their mindset.
Can you think of a time recently when you felt like this?
You were afraid to mess up so you didn't play like yourself...
You had a tough time recovering from a failure in a training or game...
You played great in training but couldn't perform in a game...
You couldn't maintain the motivation to consistently train on your own...
Opponents, teammates, or even family or friends criticized you and they caused you to doubt yourself...
We've all experienced these. They're part of being an athlete.
And you know what? We've missed out on memorable performances, massive improvements, and becoming the best athlete we can be.
You know who becomes everything they've hoped and more? The person who does something about it.
The person who can encounter any situation whether its fear, failure, pressure, hate, and still give a killer performance. Now THAT is rare,
Are you ready to be that person?

"I've been dealing with a lot of mental struggles, a lack of confidence, a lack of belief in my own abilities, and because of that my performance has struggled... The course helped me improve my mindset and massively improve my confidence on the ball. It has helped me view myself in a better way."
